Why President Buhari Will Not Participate In Ramadan Fast

President Muhammadu Buhari might not participate in the month-long Ramadan fasting period due to ill-health.
The Islamic doctrine exempts sick persons, pregnant women and very old people from participating in one of the pillars of the religion.

The president, 74, has been in London for weeks, receiving medical treatment.

The 2017 Ramadan fasting period is expected to kick off on Saturday, after a new moon must have been sighted.

We pray God heal our President.
